Suna Turgay is owner operator of Flowerwork Farm. She has been growing for 20 years and enjoys creating accessible outdoor spaces where she can connect with people of different backgrounds, needs, and abilities through nature.

She came to farming through teaching, where she found the garden to be a great place to connect and engage with her students.

Suna is an immigrant from Turkey, where her grandfather was a farmer-florist. She lives in Florence with her spouse, kids, and dog Gator. She is the parent of a child with an intellectual disability and complex needs and dreams of working in an inclusive and accepting environment. She loves to sing, dance and play.
